Blastly · Last updated: 7 August 2026

Summary: Blastly is a WhatsApp-based sales & customer-communication platform for merchants. We process merchants' customer data on their behalf solely to provide the service. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising, and merchants can request deletion at any time.

Who we are

Blastly is operated by أحمد فرج (Ahmed Farag). Contact: +201020936189 · https://blastly.online

Data we collect

  • Merchant account: business name, username, contact WhatsApp number, hashed password, subscription details. Card data is handled by our payment gateway and never stored by us.
  • Merchant's customer data: name, phone/WhatsApp number, city/address, order details (order number, items, value, payment & fulfilment status) and shipment tracking data.
  • WhatsApp messages: inbound and outbound messages (text, images, documents, audio) exchanged between the merchant and their customers, stored in the merchant's shared inbox.
  • Technical data: in-app activity logs for security and support, and a strictly necessary session cookie to keep users signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To operate the service: sending/receiving WhatsApp messages, order confirmation, shipping follow-up.
  • To show merchants reports and analytics about their own performance.
  • For security, abuse prevention, customer support, billing and subscription management.

We do not use merchant or end-customer data for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it to train our own AI models.

Sharing with service providers

  • Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) — to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
  • Shopify — to sync the merchant's orders and products, with their authorisation (revocable at any time).
  • Shipping carriers (e.g. Bosta) — to create and track shipments.
  • Payment gateway (Paymob) — to collect the merchant's subscription fee; card details go directly to the gateway.
  • AI provider (Anthropic)only if the merchant enables the reply-suggestion feature; conversation context is sent to generate a draft that a human reviews before sending.

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and those of our users.

Retention & deletion

Data is retained while the merchant's account is active. Merchants can delete individual messages or entire conversations from within the platform at any time. On an account-deletion request we delete the data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (e.g. invoices). Full instructions: Data Deletion.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you can disconnect any integration (WhatsApp/Shopify) at any time from the settings page.

Security

The service is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, each merchant's data is isolated from other merchants, and access within a merchant's team is permission-controlled.

Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18.

Merchant responsibility

The merchant is the controller of their customers' data and is responsible for obtaining the consent required to message those customers and for complying with WhatsApp/Meta policies and applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
